Roll up garage doors standard features & options

Tarquin roll up garage doors are customisable to your exact requirements; material, style, size, colour and operation. Our garage doors support the latest consumer technology such as remote operation via apps and network integration including addition of lighting and other features. There’s no need to exit the car to open your roll up garage doors in bad weather. With remote control operation you can simply press a button and drive straight in. Two four button key fob handsets are included as standard with your roll up garage doors, with the option to program more as required. You can also open the door from the control panel itself. A 25W integrated light will automatically switch on when you operate the garage door. This allows you to park your car and exit safely. You can use the holiday mode to lock the control panel for extra security when you’re not home. Holiday mode prevents anybody from operating the door until you unlock it with your handset. Safety brake

In the unlikey event the motor drive shears, an automatic safety brake instantly stops the door from dropping

Space saving roll

The door travels vertically into a compact roll for maximum space inside and out. Meaning no lost space with or solutions.

Manual overide

If the power fails, a simple hand crank allows you to wind the door up or down to keep you secure and maintain access

Anti lift locking system

Secure closure is maintained with high grade, robust lock straps that prevent the curtain from being lifted. Their turn lock design provides ease of installation.

Durable slats

The curved and ribbed profile of the slats are formed from aluminium filled with CFC free foam for a lightweight, strong and corrosion resistant curtain.

Effective weather strip

The profile of the bottom edge weatherstrip channels rain run-off away from the door to minimise water ingress into the garage space.

Strong guides and slats

Extruded aluminium guides with a draught brush and anti-rub glide-brushes ensure the door curtain is secure and operation is smooth. The extruded bottom weather strip channel adds further rigidity.

Teleco wired sensor

The standard solution means there is no reliance on batteries top keep the safety systems working. The permanent power cable ensures that the sensor is always powered and fully compliant with European safety directives.

Choice of motors

Tarquin carefully select and test the best industry motors. Our standard motors are manufactured by NRG/Teleco. All come with a comprehensive 5 year warranty.

Optional features

Wireless digital keypad

Remote control handsets can be complemented by wireless digital keypads for inside your home.

Wireless switch

Bidirectional wall switches allow you to check on the status of your door. At the touch of a button you can determine if your door is open or closed from the comfort of your home.

Hand transmittor

Two hand transmittors are supplied but any number of extras can be purchased and programmed as required.

External overide

If you have no other access to your garage an external override allows manual operation of the garage door in the event of a power failure via a lockable cover.

Intruder alarm

Enhance security by fitting an integrated alarm. The alarm buzzer will sound if it senses excessive force being applied to the door.
